So much fun! Depends on the company you bring and the time of year you come, but it was an amazing experience! It was so nice to get so close to the falls and well worth the long wait in line and the far travel you have to go to get to it!

Niagara City Cruises departs from the Canadian side of the Falls and passes by the American Falls, Canadian Horseshoe Falls and Great Gorge. Thanks to our classic Canadian winters, this cruise operates seasonally. While exact dates vary annually, it typically runs from April or May until late November. 

Great activity. To do at least once. Very impressive to go so close to the falls.

As a family the adventure was a lot of fun. You get a true impression of how powerful the falls can be.

Avoid to visit in winter months because of foggy weather you can not enjoy fall's view.

At Journey Behind the Falls, you’ll descend about 125 ft. (approximately 40 m) to explore cave-like tunnels leading to two observation decks that are over 130 years old behind the Canadian Horseshoe Falls.

I didn't think I had to go up there, but when I did, it was nice. It was fun to go up by elevator, and the view was nice from there. If you do well, you can also see the CN Tower and Rogers Center Dome.

You may be able to purchase tickets on site. The ticket that went up but came back was $19 + tax.

Quite possibly the most iconic tower in the Niagara area. It’s been years since I’ve been up there but it’s on my to do list the next time I visit.

Reserved dinner at the revolving restaurant, so the observation deck was included in the price.

Went to the observation deck. You’ll see Niagara Falls ,  the city and surrounding area . Not sure if it worth it or not but I was not amazed . Anyways I recliner if you still want to go to visit during nighttime, nicer view with the lights .  Also it’s better if you have binoculars to see around the city and the falls . The observation deck has outdoor deck too .

Great views but the location is rundown and definitely needs a renovation. Felt like a tourist trap which is sad because it offers an amazing view to both water falls

Skylon Tower

The Skylon Tower offers an impressive birds-eye-view of both the American and Canadian sides of Niagara Falls and surrounding areas. 
Skylon Tower stands at 520 ft. (160m) above street level and 775 ft. (236m) above the base of the Falls. Talk about a bird’s eye view, eh?! To get to the top, guests will ride in their iconic “yellow bug” glass elevators to take in a view of the falls while heading up the tower. From the tower’s Observation Deck, you’ll be able to get an outstanding view of the Falls, admire the beautiful cityscape around the Niagara Gorge as well as take in the picturesque skyline. If you choose one of the tours that provides lunch at the Skylon, during the winter months you’ll enjoy a meal at the Summit Suite Buffet. During the summer months you’ll enjoy a meal in the Revolving Dining Room Restaurant. Both experiences offer a variety of delicious food options and a spectacular view of the Falls while you dine. In addition to the restaurants and observation decks, the Skylon Tower features gift shops, souvenir photos and even has an arcade in the basement.

Your day tour of Niagara Falls begins with pick up directly from your downtown Toronto before heading to Niagara Falls. 

Your first tour stop of the day will be a visit to Skylon Tower. At Skylon Tower, you’ll head up 520 ft. in a glass elevator to the observation area where you will be treated to an incredible, birds-eye view of all three Niagara Falls (Bridal Veil Falls, Horseshoe Falls, and the American Falls), as well as the Niagara River and surrounding area. Once you’re back on the ground, your next stop on the tour is a visit to Journey Behind the Falls where you will descend 125 ft (approx. 40m) to explore cave-like tunnels behind the Falls at Journey Behind the Falls. This experience is a treat for the senses as you’ll be able to not only hear the falls but feel them as well. The tunnels lead to two observation decks, giving you the perfect photo opportunity.

Following your visit to Journey Behind the Falls, we will take you to board the Niagara City Cruises Voyage To The Falls Boat Tour (seasonal, operating April - November only, replaced with admission to Niagara's Fury and Butterfly Conservatory in the winter months). On your cruise, you will sail around the Niagara gorge and get as close as possible to the Falls. You can expect to feel the refreshing mist during this boat ride - but don’t worry, you will be provided with a recyclable rain poncho. 

After the Voyage To The Falls Boat Tour, your guide will take you on a narrated driving tour of the city where you will learn about Niagara’s rich history and distinct geography. During the driving portion of your tour, your guide will take you to several points of interest including the Dufferin Islands, the International Control Dam, the Old Scow, Whirlpool Rapids, and the Floral Clock.  

For the last portion of your tour, your guide will give you an hour of free time to explore the city on your own. This is the perfect time to grab a snack, take some extra pictures or pick up some souvenirs.

At the end of your tour, your guide will bring you back to your downtown Toronto.
