Light Up The Falls Plus Dinner

This was a great tour! The staff at the illumination tour was very knowledgeable about the history regarding the lighting of Niagara Falls. It was amazing to watch the falls light up in real time with whichever colour you choose. Definitely a great experience for all!

The tour was awesome to see the falls in a whole different light instead of working through the crowds on a beautiful summer day. Martine our guide was an awesome guide full of the amazing history of the area. The illumination tower was quiet the experience with the long standing history through the wars and of course being able to change the color of the falls ourselves was an experience a younger me would be proud of and definitely not the be missed out on if you can!!! I had so much fun on this tour. I didn’t even know something like this was possible but this night tour was the highlight of my day. Dinner was good - and the view of the falls during dinner was spectacular. Getting to experience the illumination tower was so special. I throughly enjoyed learning the history of the lights and getting to change the lights on the falls was so much fun!! I will definitely be recommending this your to everyone!!!

We had an excellent time, particularly the tour of the illumination tower. The gentleman who operates the illumination gave us a historical tour of the systems lightning up the falls. He had been operating the different iterations of the light systems for a long time, and listening to his stories was like getting to experience a little piece of the living and evolving history of Niagara Falls. Notably, we got to actually change the colours of the lights! Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would get to do that. So cool. Our tour guide, Martine, was lovely and very knowledgeable about the area. As a bonus, she told us some fascinating stories about the daredevils crossing the falls/ taking (mostly unsuccessful) barrel rides down the falls - if you have the chance, you should ask her to share. :)

Getting to choose the colour of the falls was such a neat experience. The staff were very knowledgeable about the history of the lights and it was interesting to find out more. Great tour!
