This place is awesome, so much to see, so much going on and a lot of different options for activities. A lot of artisanal options for food, cosmetics and crafts plus even the odd street performers. Dog friendly too from what I can tell. The one thing that is an absolute NIGHTMARE is parking. Limited spots, TINY spaces and takes forever to get in and out with so much pedestrian traffic. If you can park elsewhere and walk, DO IT.

I loved the vibe of the market. Lots of foods to try, souvenirs, pastries. We tried Mexican and tai food, and both were so fresh, prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity. We enjoyed having our lunch on the benches with ocean view. Just be careful of the gulls trying to steal food :)

There’s a variety of shops on Granville island that you can buy many commodities from such as fruit, vegetables, pasta noodles, pastries, books, jewelry and more.

The items are a tad overpriced but visiting the stores with friends can be really fun. We visited this island from downtown Vancouver and took the ferry to Granville Island. You should purchase tickets inside the ferry.

Awesome place to shop or just look around and explore the different shops.

Always a great experience with families of any age

Today is January 1, 2024. There are not many people visiting there. You can walk around more leisurely. But the very bad thing is that most of the shops on the island are closed during the holidays, and most of the toilets are also locked. This is a urinary test for many seniors. Of course, this kind of public holiday only happens once a year, so I would like to remind everyone, if you have poor kidney function, don’t visit here on New Year’s Day.
